Choosing child care is a personal decision, and it is normal to have questions. When you contact Play Play Play Calgary, you will speak with people who can tell you about our programs, current availability and what a typical day looks like. There is no obligation, and we are happy to help whether you are ready to register or just starting to explore your options.
Why contact Play Play Play Calgary?
Families usually get in touch for one of these reasons:
- To book a tour. Seeing the space and meeting the team is the best way to know whether a daycare is right for your child, and it is the first step of registration.
- To check availability. Registration is ongoing as spaces become available. We can tell you what is open and where you would stand on the wait list.
- To ask about programs. Kindergarten care, before and after school care, summer camp, AM care, PM care and drop-in care all have different schedules. We can help you find the combination that fits your work hours.
- To ask about school transportation. We provide bus service to several Calgary schools, and we can confirm whether your child's school is included.
- To book a birthday party. Our play area can be booked on weekends, and we will confirm your booking by phone.

What to ask when you visit a daycare in Calgary
To help you make the most of your tour, here are a few questions worth asking any child care provider, including us:
- What are the hours, and what happens if I am late for pick-up?
- What is included in the monthly fee, and are professional development days covered?
- How do you communicate with parents about my child's day?
- What snacks and meals are provided?
- How do children get to and from school?
- What is the registration process and the deposit?

How registration works
Take a tour, complete the registration form, complete the parent and program agreement, and hand them in with a $150 non-refundable deposit per child. Registration is ongoing, and we will let you know where you are on the wait list if a program is full.
Help with the cost of child care

Planning your visit to a Calgary daycare
Choosing between our two locations is easy if you think about your daily route. Midnapore Daycare suits families in south-east Calgary, and Varsity Kindergarten and Before & After School Care suits families in the north-west. Call ahead so that we can set aside time for you, and feel free to bring your child along. Children often show us, without saying a word, whether they feel comfortable in a new space. Bring your questions, your work schedule and your child's school details, so we can explain exactly how our programs would fit your week.
